Iconography

Inspired by her Serbian background Slavka has a love of Byzantine Art and a fascination with angels, saints and religious icons.  Her own printed images form the background to collages rich in colour and texture, as she combines them with photographs or found images.

Iconography was created pre Pandemic but has become increasingly relevant as we have progressed through this life changing experience.
